Drought

and they wept
because they could see those drops
on that framed rectangle of sky they
were allowed.
and though the coolness of the crystal
was forbidden,
theย sight
was disablingly sensual.

My lips enjoy playing along with
clever words and
idioms and
metaphors
an infinity more than
the vulgar talk you found
fun.
